E-Books?

Sorry, this is going to be a short post... >.<

Anyway, onto the main topic.

As you know, there is only one E-Book that has come out so far. That being Hollyleaf's Story. But as I went around Kate's blog, a user, WhiteTiger, said that there would be two NEW E-Books. Excited, I decided to check them out.

There will Mistystar's Omen, which comes out on September 11, 2012 and here is the book cover:

And then there will be Cloudstar's Journey, which will be released on February 5, 2013. Sorry, no book cover yet for this one! >.<

Now, I don't know if this is confirmed by the Erins yet, (though it does look real) so I'll keep you posted on it. :3

What do you think they are going to be about? Comment below!

Thank you to Silverpelt, WhiteTiger's blog for the information.

Dawn of the Clans - The Sun Trail Cover Released!

Hey guys! Up here is the first(?) book in the new Warriors series, Dawn of the Clans. It's about what first happened when the Clans came into the forest. Right now I have no further information on this, just the cover and the title name, but I'll try to uncover some other things soon. :) What do you guys think about this new series?

EDIT:

So I have been prowling around Kate's blog recently, and I found out the author is Cherith Baldry! I also got the Blurb! Here it is:

Before Rusty left his kittypet home…

Before Bluestar ruled ThunderClan…

Before Crookedstar made his fateful promise…

The warrior Clans were born.

Find out how it all came to be in this brand-new arc that reveals the origins of the four Clans. Featuring a new cast of characters, a richly developed world, and a never-before-seen look at the history of the warrior cats, this prologue arc is perfect for existing fans and for those new to the Warriors world. With over thirteen million copies sold and each new title hitting the New York Times bestseller list, the Warriors series is a true phenomenon that will continue to take readers by storm.

Exciting, huh? I'll update this post more when I get more information :)

After The Last Hope -- Medicine Cats?

For those of you who have NOT read The Last Hope, I advise you NOT to read this post. Unless you want spoilers, of course.

~*~

As we already know, Leafpool helped out with Jayfeather in the The Last Hope with her Medicine Cat skills. What do you think happened after the battle? Did the Clan see how useful she was to them, and did StarClan change their minds, and believe that she had suffered enough already? After all, being a warrior is like torture to her, and she had to already give up her kits, and one of them joined StarClan in the battle. Or will they still keep strict and forbid Leafpool to return to being a Medicine Cat?

In my opinion, I believe that she stayed being a Medicine Cat after the battle. Crowfeather and her came to peace at the end of battle, and accepted that it was never meant to be. And StarClan aren't known to be too cruel. Yellowfang mated with the Clan leader and gave birth to Brokenstar! And she was still able to become a Medicine Cat. Why not Leafpool? Why can't she have a second chance? And if she does return to being a Medicine Cat, will she be the full one? Or be an apprentice to Jayfeather? Though it might sound weird, considering she is the older one, I think she would stay as the apprentice. I think that Jayfeather would have wanted her to be the full one, but that she insisted she would stay as an apprentice to him. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think that Leafpool deserves to return to her former position? Or stick to her punishment? Comment down below!

Oh, and please vote on the poll! It's right above the chat-box! :3 Sorry for such a short post and that I've been away for so long... I have to get back in the groove! My brain is fried right now, sorry! DX :S

Forest of Secrets

Forest of Secrets is the third book in the Original Arc.

Theory- New Leader?

Hello dear readers! I'm here today to discuss who might be the next ThunderClan leader! Lets get started!

~*~
Well, lets go over what we already know. Well, one of the Erins have said that it will be totally unsuspected. That gives us a huge lead, right? So lets go over The Forgotten Warrior allegiances. (It has to be someone that is already in the clan, right? Unless some prophecy is uncovered) Possible spoilers ahead!

Allegiances-

Leader: Firestar
Deputy: Brambleclaw
Medicine Cat: Jayfeather
Warriors:
Graystripe
Dustpelt
Sandstorm
Brackenfur
Sorreltail
Cloudtail
Brightheart
Millie
Thornclaw
Squirrelflight
Leafpool
Spiderleg
Birchfall
Whitewing
Berrynose
Poppyfrost
Hazeltail
Mousewhisker
Cinderheart
Lionblaze
Foxleap
Icecloud
Toadstep
Rosepetal
Briarlight
Blossomfall
Bumblestripe
Dovewing
Ivypool
Apprentices:
Molepaw
Cherrypaw
Queens:
Ferncloud
Daisy
Elders:
Mousefur
Purdy

~*~

Okay, so I crossed off some cats that we probably already know aren't going to be the new leader. (sorry if this list is inaccurate, I got it off a site :P) I mean, face it. Jayfeather, of course, is destined to be a medicine, so he's off the list. If Leafpool were to be the new leader, that would be like pure torture to her! Think about it. Briarlight can't really walk, and is mostly confined to the medicine cat den. Cherrypaw and Molepaw are way too young, and Ferncloud and Daisy are happy within the nursery walls. As for Mousefur and Purdy, I think it pretty self explanatory. So lets zero in on the most unusual cats.

Possibilities-

Cinderheart
Whitewing
 Brackenfur
Sorreltail
Brightheart
Millie
Graystripe
Squirrelflight

Now I know I'm kind of picked out a few who would really be suspected, but lets carry on.

Cinderheart- Shows great deal of courage, and Vicky Holmes even said she would love for her to be leader.

Whitewing- Never picks up a fight, has had an apprentice, is caring yet fierce, a great type of leader.

Brackenfur- Has been thought to be a great deputy many times by Firestar and Brambleclaw. He shows a great authority and leadership traits and has trained many apprentices.

Sorreltail- Quite unsuspected, yes? She shows the becoming of a fantastic leader.

Brightheart- She has gone through so much. She saws great courage, and independence and refuses to let others get her down. Why shouldn't she be a leader?

Millie- Kind, considerate, and didn't ever challenge Cinderheart or Hollyleaf when the truth came out.

Graystripe- Has a lot of experience from being deputy and a senior warrior, and is well known throughout the clans.
Squirrelflight- Feisty, but mighty. She will speak when she wants to speak, and never lets others down.

But that's enough about pros, lets get onto to their flaws!

Cinderheart- She should lay low right now. After her clan found about her past life, they're a little too uneasy around her at this moment.

Whitewing- She may be more of a mother than a leader, like how a Queen cares for her kits. And in my opinion, just isn't ready yet. She is still very young.

Brackenfur- I see no cons in him, but he is a very obvious choice for a deputy.

Sorreltail- Alas, she is a Queen now!

Brightheart- Sometimes she second guesses herself, and seems to question her actions, but other than that, I can't seem to find anything else!

Millie- Though she may be a great cat, she isn't full welcomed into the clan yet, as we have learned in The Forgotten Warrior. (sorry forgot what page number)

Graystripe- Too obvious. I mean, your Firestar's best friend. And plus, some cats may not still trust you. (which is stupid in my opinion, but he had a RiverClan mate and spent some time there with his kits, and took a kitty-pet as a mate. That would just create for gossip about ThunderClan)

Squirrelflight- Bit too outspoken, I must say. And gets offended easily. Little too fired up.. But would be a totally unsuspected choice for a leader, in my opinion!

So the decision is still unknown... But for me, I would love to see Brightheart as a leader. What about you? I only narrowed in on some of the cats, so feel free to say your own opinions about others.

Welcome, Warriors!

Welcome one, welcome all. Though I will probably change the name of this blog, for now it is called Warriors101. No, it is not about me. Here, you will be able to learn anything about warrior cats! As you can see, I have already posted some information about the first two books from the Original Series. Enjoy! You have more information coming!

Fire and Ice

Fire and Ice is the second book in the Original Arc.

Blurb:

Fireheart is a ThunderClan warrior cat now, but danger still lurks in the forest - and possibly closer than he thinks. With the chill of winter setting in, the cats of rival RiverClan are growing restless, while WindClan turns weak and faces threats from all sides.

As tensions build up to an explosive climax, Fireheart faces not only imminent battle, but betrayal from within his own Clan.

"Fire alone can save our Clan..."

Dedication:

For my son, Joshua, whose smiles kept me happy as I wrote, and Vicky, my editor, without whom Fireheart would never have become a warrior.

Praise:
"Action-packed adventure. Certain to please any reader who has ever wondered what dreams of grandeur may haunt the family cat."
-Publishers Weekly

"A suspenseful animal adventure that will leave readers eying Puss a bit nervously."
-Kirkus Reviews

"Hunter’s world keeps getting more finely drawn, and her characters more complex. With enough backstory for newcomers to find their way, established fans will be on edge for the next title."
-Kirkus Reviews

"After having left his life as a kittypet, apprentice Firepaw of the ThunderClan has been given his warrior name of Fireheart and his first mission-to find the WindClan and assist them back to their traditional hunting grounds. While he and his friend Graystripe are successful in their quest, Fireheart knows that trouble is brewing, and he isn't sure that the ThunderClan's deputy can be trusted. As events escalate, a warrior from RiverClan is accidentally killed, an apprentice is injured, and Fireheart brings into the Clan a kittypet kitten - his nephew - without thinking of the consequences. Finally, he must decide who to trust and who to fight."
 -Lisa Prolman, School Library Journal

"Firepaw, the former kittypet who became a ThunderClan warrior in Into the Wild, faces danger and treachery within and without his clan as he struggles with his identity. Because some clan members refuse to accept him, he feels like an outsider. Also, it appears that ShadowClan and RiverClan are forming an alliance to usurp land belonging to the displaced WindClan. ThunderClan's leader sends Firepaw and his friend Graystripe to lead WindClan back to its home, but intrigue among the clans and among individuals within them spells trouble for Firepaw. Characters remain true to their feline natures, adding to the plausibility of events in this tension-filled story. Readers will be happy to learn that another episode is in the works."
 -Sally Estes, Booklist

"A fast-paced animal adventure. Recommend this series to fans of animal fantasies such as Redwall and Dark Portal."
 -Voice of Youth Advocates (VOYA)
